About Dr. Ajay Kumar Poddar

A physician by training and a public servant by calling, Dr. Ajay Kumar Poddar represents Kulti in the West Bengal Assembly, serving as a Cabinet Minister for PHED & PWD.

Dr. Ajay Kumar Poddar began his life in public service through medicine. A qualified medical practitioner (MBBS) from Ranchi Medical College, he spent years serving patients across the Kulti-Asansol industrial region, earning the affectionate name 'Goriber Daktarbabu' (Doctor of the Poor) by providing affordable and free consultations to the needy.
